Pandemic (Legacy)

Trying to save the world

One of my favorite board games is Pandemic which is only eclipsed by its partner games Pandemic Legacy and Pandemic Legacy season 2. One of the major mechanics of the game is a deck of city cards that is pulled from on each turn to reveal which cities are going to be ‘infected’ with disease. At certain points in the game, the discarded city cards are shuffled and placed back on top of the city card deck ensuring that recently revealed cards will reappear on subsequent turns. This means that there is information about the probability of which cards will be pulled next that the players *could* track. Through the game, the city card deck will become more layered and complicated but could give helpful insights to players in their turns. I’ve been building to track the city deck in a game to maximize player information.
